Mary Ann Gatesman, 76, of 1125 East Main Street, Bradford, PA, passed away, Tuesday, February 21st, 2012 at the Bradford Manor.
Born April 11, 1935, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Tominez) Kloss.
Mrs. Gatesman was a 1954 graduate of St. Bernard High School.
On June 27, 1964 in Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church she married Jerome "Jim Gatesman who survives.
She worked at Boviard and Seafang, the Helen Hume Shop, Mayer Brausers and prior to her retirement she worked at Zippo Manufacturing.
She was a member of of St. Francis of Assisi Church, and a member of the 50+ Group. She enjoyed painting, crafting, sewing and decorating eggs.
In addition to her husband, Jim, of 47 years she is survived by two children; a daughter, Karen (Timothy) Leonard of Sayre, PA and a son, Kevin (Susan) Gatesman of Fairfax, VA; a sister, Joan (John) Recny of Bradford. four grandchildren; Kyle Gatesman, Alyssa Gatesman, Joshua Leonard and Kaitlyn Leonard.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers; Walter Kloss,Jr., Robert Kloss and Bernard Kloss.
Family will be receiving friends on Sunday, February 26, 2012, from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. East Main St. where a prayer service will be held on Monday, February 27th at 9:30 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, with Rev Stephen Collins, pastor, as celebrant. Mausoleum entombment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery. A Christian Wake Service will be held at 2:00pm Sunday at the funeral home.
