Victoria A. “Vicky” Leo, 69, of 173 Interstate Parkway, Bradford, PA


Victoria A. “Vicky” Leo, 69, of 173 Interstate Parkway, Bradford, passed away on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at the Pavilion at BRMC.

She was born on December 18, 1942 in Bradford, a daughter of the late Joseph Sr. and Rena Fiori Leo.

She was a 1960 graduate of the St. Bernard School.

She was employed by the former Bell Atlantic phone company for 33 years; retiring as a Business Account Representative.

She was a member of the St. Bernard Catholic Church, the La Stella Lodge Ladies Auxiliary, Verizon Pioneers Bradford chapter; where she was a former Vice president, Fraternal Order of Eagles #2432, Bradford. She loved to travel; she had been all over the country and to numerous countries in Europe, she was especially fond of visiting the ocean wherever she happened to travel to. She enjoyed skiing at Holiday Valley, Ellicottville, NY; where she had her own condo. She served on the St. Bernard School class of 1960 reunion committee. She was known to break out in song spontaneously; which she credited to her Italian heritage. She was a staunch supporter of the SPCA and loved her two cats, Simon and Fenwick, dearly.

She is survived by one brother, Joseph Leo, Jr., Bradford, one sister, Jo Mary (Jack) Scott, Lockport, NY, two nephews, Joe Leo, III, Bradford, Kiley (Melissa) Scott, Charlotte, NC, one niece, Shannon (Steven) Abbott, Lockport, NY and two twin great nieces, Ellie and Maddie Abbott, both of Lockport, NY.

At her request there will be no visitation. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at the St. Bernard Catholic Church, with the Rev. Raymond Gramata as celebrant.

Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.
