I-80 Re-opened Today After Fatal Multi Vehicle Accidents

OIL CITY -- Interstate 80's westbound lanes in Venango County reopened today after a multiple-vehicle crash Saturday.

A Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spokesman said I-80 westbound between Exit 42/Emlenton at Route 38 and Exit 29/Barkeyville at Route 8 was open again at 10:20 a.m.

The interstate was closed Saturday afternoon after at least three people were killed in a series of chain-reaction crashes in snowy conditions. More...
