E. Regina Nordberg, 84, of Christ the King Manor, DuBois, formerly of Emporium, died at the Manor in DuBois on Sunday morning (February 26, 2012).
She was born October 13, 1927 in Emporium a daughter of the late Gerald and Elsie Skillman Horning. On December 27, 1948 in Emporium she married the late Herman Nordberg.
Mrs. Nordberg graduated from Emporium High School and Buffalo Childrens Hospital School of Nursing. She retired as a nursing supervisor from Guy and Mary Felt Manor where she worked for many years. She was a member of the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church in Emporium and most recently attended the DuBois Alliance Church. While in Emporium she was very active in her church teaching Sunday School & Vacation Bible School. She was a member of the Church Board, a Diaconate, and was involved with the Womens Missionary Fellowship. She taught 4H groups for many years and enjoyed cooking and baking for others.

There will be No Visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church Sizerville Road, Emporium on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 11:30 AM with Rev. Mark Conklin, Pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Driftwood.
