I want to show you... vi mostro una cosa

ciao amici!

today i want to show you something I got in my mail the other day... some of my customers sent me the pages they did with my kits and I must say that this is the nicest thing that can happen to a designer!

so I would like to show you an adorable page Miri has created with my kit "Easter eggs" on sale @ SCRAPBOOKGRAPHICS

I think this page is truly a piece of art, the cats fit perfectly the romantic athmosphere of the garden and the overall composition is so beautiful!

and now a page Isabelle created with my "LITTLE RED RIDING..." on sale @ DEVIANTSCRAP

this is so creatively beautiful... I love the idea of the wolf getting mad 'cause he can't find little red riding hood, this is truly an amazing vision of my kit

I hope you enjoyed them as much as I did, I think that both artists really got such a personal perspective of my work and this is something I really love!
so now don't forget that tomorrow my girls will pick 2 lucky winners among those that left a comment to the sneak peek post to have the chance to win become a follower and leave a message in http://prissdesigns.blogspot.com/2012/03/cappuccetto-rosso-vieni-vieni-qua-peek.html

I apologize...

Sorry guys, but I won't be able to post pics of the kits until tomorrow. I'm very sorry. I'm waiting on one shipment, so rather than post the two that are ready, I'm going to hold off until tomorrow when I can post all three and spare more confusion. The good news is that its worth the wait! :)Enjoy your day...

Little red riding hood!

ed eccolo qui! il mio nuovo kit ovviamente ispirato a cappuccetto rosso!

This kit comes from my project of creating some story books for my girls, my little one really likes "Little Red Riding Hood" and she was very fit for the role but all the wolves I could find in the digiworld were just too scary for her, so I thought I might design her some "gentler" ones.
The double pages you can see in the preview are from the book I'm going to have printed for her.

I wrote down the exact story I tell her with the same words and little variations to the original story (the wolf doesn't die in the end, he just gets a stomachake!) so that one day she will read it and she'll remember how much fun we had telling this story (lol... maybe I should record my voice as well as she makes me do all the different characters!), so this kit has many scenic backgrounds in it and is expecially thought for scenes, but there are many other elements and papers that will make even people with soft spot for clusters enjoy it.

this kit has 10 scenic backgrounds, 12 papers, 118 unique elements, 38 shadowed versions and a complete alpha

"LITTLE RED RIDING..." on sale from today exclusively @ Deviantscrap

Happy Birthday Albert Einstein ~ March 14

Albert Einstein was a world renowned, German-born physicist and iconic genius best known for his Theory of Relativity. He was born on March 14, 1879 in Ulm, Germany. If you go to Biography.com, you can watch two videos about the biography of Albert Einstein. The first video to play is a brief biography and, if you stay on it, a  more detailed biography will play.

Albert Einstein was recognized by TIME Magazine as "Person of the Century" in 1999. He is someone well worth getting to know better.

Here is a video describing the Theory of Relativity in easy terms.

Rainbows for St. Patty's Day!

St Patty's day for me has always seemed to fall through the cracks a little. Other than making green eggs or green mash potatoes, we haven't done much else to celebrate this day. I thought with all the many creative people out there on the world wide web there has to be something that I can really grab onto and run with. I found it...rainbows!!!

Here are a couple of fun and creative ways to decorate with rainbows for St. Patty's Day!

iPhone App of the Week--PaperKarma

PaperKarma is one of my newest apps, and I'm in LOVE with it.  If you want to get rid of any unwanted junkmail, simply photograph it with your iPhone, and they'll take care of the rest!  You'll no longer be bothered, and we'll save trees. THAT is cool.  And, the app is free

Enjoy your day!

Project Life Weeks 8

PL Week 8--F & A Page Protectors

This week was filled with lots of activity in our lives, and so there are plenty of photos to show for it.  Basketball for our oldest son, my mom's 70th b-day, a fundraiser, school projects, craftiness, and Mardi Gras.  As with many of the other weeks, I used a lot of die cuts (cut from the Cameo) and a few MS Label stickers found from Staples.  If you look closely, you'll also find elements from the PL mini kit that sold out quickly last month, too.  Be on the lookout for more of those tidbits in this month's selection!

Enjoy your day!

all kinds of diy Easter baskets

There are some designs here that I just love (like the fabric Easter basket pictured here). The other diy baskets are for mere inspiration.

Although I keep entertaining the idea of decorating my Easter baskets with colorful ribbon, lace and vintage brooches.

this is for you Rozzie (it's shabby chic) and mom (the vintage brooches!)

more inspiration for a shabby chic diy Easter basket!
