A man who grabbed an AK-47 rifle and threatened to kill a female and another man at his residence on Main Street in Duke Center on Sunday was released on his own recognizance.
Jeremy M. Prescott, of 857 Main Street, Duke Center, PA, was taken into custody Sunday after the 6:00 pm incident at his residence.
Trooper Mary Gausman, of PSP Kane, said in a news release that Prescott engaged in a verbal argument with a known female victim. During the argument, Prescott grabbed an AK-47 rifle and threatened to kill the woman and another known male.
Prescott was charged in District Court 48-3-03 with Terroristic Threats, Simple Assault, and Harassment. He was arraigned before on-call District Magistrate Dominic Cercone and released on $10,000. unsecured bail. The investigation of the case is continuing.
