Galeton Weather Report February 2012

The month of February continued the trend this winter to be mild and relatively light on the snow side.

We enjoyed several sunny 50 degree days. A few mornings were colder, but not severe, although I did hear some complain about "the cold".

We received 1.37" of rain and melted snow. Last year we received 4.74". This February we received 7.5" of snow and last year 31.3".

We had only 4 days with 1" of snow or more on the ground. The greatest snow depth was 2" on the 25th. We recorded fog on four mornings and glaze on one morning.
