Phyllis P. Pierotti, 81, of 85 Old Tower Road, Lewis Run, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at the Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo, NY.
She was born on May 5, 1930 in Troy, NY, the daughter of the late Alassandro and Louise Calabrase.
On April 1, 1966 she married Peter F. Pierotti in Oakland, NJ, who passed away on September 10, 2011.
She was a 1948 graduate of the Troy High School, Troy, NY.
She was a member of the St. Bernard Catholic Church, the Lafayette Township Action Committee and she was a longtime volunteer for the Red Cross in Oakland, NJ.
She was the head secretary for numerous Chairmen of the Board for Western Union, Ramsey, NJ for many years.
She is survived by two sons, Tony (Kathy) Zotto, Ashburn, VA, Dan (Elizabeth) Zotto, Bedford, NH, one granddaughter, Brianna Zotto, Ashburn, VA, two grandsons, Capt. Derek Zotto, Kentucky, Michael Zotto, Bedford, NH and several nieces and nephews. She was also loved and remembered by her many wonderful friends.
In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by three brothers.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Mascho Funeral Home, Inc. where a prayer service will be held at 9:30 AM Thursday, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in the St. Bernard Catholic Church with the Rev. Raymond Gramata as celebrant. A Christian wake service will be held at 7:30 PM Wednesday in the funeral home.
Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.
