Bradford man arrested for Statutory Sexual Assault, Sexual Abuse of Children, Unlawful Contact with a Minor, Corruption of Minors and Prostitution and Related Offenses.Kane - Earlier today, Troopers from the Pennsylvania State Police - Kane Station arrested Justin A. Conklin, 22, of Bradford, PA, for sexual offenses committed against 4 known minors over a period of a year.
The minors ranged in age from 14 to 17 years old and the crimes were perpetrated in and around Bradford City, Bradford Township, and Foster Township in McKean County, PA.
The investigation revealed that in addition to possessing child pornography, Conklin had sexual contact with some of the victims and had agreed to pay one of the minors for a sexual act.
Conklin was taken into custody and arraigned before District Judge Richard W. Luther (48-3-03), Bradford, PA pursuant to the following charges:
Statutory Sexual Assault (Felony - 1 Count);
Unlawful Contact with a Minor (Felony - 2 Counts);
Sexual Abuse of Children (Felony - 30 Counts);
Corruption of Minors (Felony - 1 Count); and
Prostitution and Related Offenses (Felony - 1 Count).
In lieu of $250,000.00 cash bail, Conklin was remanded to the McKean County Jail in Smethport, PA.
