Route 54 closed at crash scene north of Elysburg
3:55 p.m. Wed.
Motorists in Northumberland County are advised that Route 54 is closed less than a mile north (west) of Elysburg at this hour.
Area fire police are directing traffic around the crash scene.
Emergency responders anticipate the road will be reopened to traffic sometime early this evening.
