Medicare Extra Help Program for Part D is available to eligible Medicare Beneficiaries.
APPRISE Medicare Counselors will Provide Assistance to Beneficiaries at Extra Help and Medicare Savings Events in Potter County
Potter County, Pennsylvania – Eligible beneficiaries with Medicare have opportunity to get help from APPRISE Medicare counselors at free local Extra Help Events to be held in Potter County. There are some changes to eligibility for the Medicare Part D Extra Help Program this year, and eligible beneficiaries are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity to get help from APPRISE Counselors who can assist with completing an application.Eligibility requirements are:
Single person : monthly income less than $1,396.00 and resources of less than $13,070
Married person: monthly income less than $1,891.00 and resources of less than $26,120.00
*Resources are Bank Accounts, Stocks & Bonds, IRA, 401K, Mutual Funds and Savings Bonds, Gas Leases, Cash and any Real Estate other than your home.
The Apprise Program will be available:
March 19, 2012 at The Gunzburger Building, First Floor Conference Room at
1 North Main Street , Coudersport PA
and
March 30, 2012 at The Gale Hose Ambulance Building, Meeting Room. Located at the corner of West Street and Union Street, Galeton PA
Both events will be from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
