Erie police closed off west Perry Square and the surrounding area to vehicle and pedestrian traffic after a series of explosions there Wednesday night.
The explosions occurred in what authorities said was an underground conduit on West Sixth Street in an area in front of Gannon University's Old Main building.There were no reports of injuries, police said. More...
