Luella G. Williams Gray, 83, of Bradford, formerly of Eldred, PA

Smethport - Luella G. Williams Gray, 83, of Bradford, formerly of Eldred, passed away Wednesday (March 7, 2012) at the Bradford Ecumenical Home, Bradford.

She was born June 18, 1928 in Carrollton, NY, a daughter of Frank J. and Ethel G. Anderson Williams. She married Rodney A. Gray, Sr., who preceded her in death on August 26, 2002.

Mrs. Gray had been employed at Airco Speer Electronics in Bradford. She was later self employed as a home health aide.

Luella was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She enjoyed Bingo, word search puzzles, crocheting, reading, and family.

She is survived by
five daughters: Susan E. (William) Jacobs of Salamanca, NY, Barbara A. (Mike) Copenhaver of Rixford, PA, Nancy L. Schrlau of Portville, NY, Deborah L. Foster of Duke Center, PA, and Amy D. (David) Shaw of Smethport, PA
three sons: Rodney A. (Patricia) Gray, Jr. of Bartlesville, OK, Steven M. (Cindy) Gray of Eldred, PA, Douglas P. (Ashley) Gray of Allegany, NY
23 Grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren
three sisters: Audrey (Harry) Martin of Smethport, PA, Dorothy Manning of Elmirage, AZ, Lila McLaughlin of Cyclone, PA
five brothers: Glenn (Rhea) Williams and Donald Williams both of Smethport, PA, James (Fran) Williams of Rixford, PA, John (Betty) Williams of Mineral Point, PA, and Norman (Ginger) Williams of Cyclone, PA, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Mark A. Gray, and 3 brothers: Malvern “Hap” Williams, Robert Williams, and Walter Williams; one sister, Violet Jones.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 9, from 1-3 PM at Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc., 2 Bank St., Smethport, PA, where funeral and committal services will follow immediately at 3 pm with Pastor Max Miller of the Bradford Area Parish, officiating. Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery, Farmers Valley.
