16 bottle cap toppers (4 for $1 at Heartland)
34 Magnets ($0.25 each at Heartland)
1 yard of ribbon to tie at top
Epoxy for gluing on magnets
Adhesive for tree and trunk
Instructions:
1. Cut out pieces from printouts.  If you have a 1” circle punch, it works perfectly for the bottlecap pieces.
2. Place chipboard pieces on clear acetate with numbers tucked underneath the pieces so that they are adhered between the acetate and the chipboard.
3. Cut around chipboard pieces so that they have a slight acetate border.
4. Trace tree and trunk onto papers and cut out.
5. Adhere tree background and trunk onto magnet board using your choice of adhesive.
6. Adhere paper numbers inside each bottlecap. Top each paper with an epoxy topper.
7. Using epoxy, adhere magnets to the back of each chipboard piece and bottle cap.
Begin on September 30th  with a blank tree.  Each day, add the corresponding piece (begin with 31 on the 30th and on Halloween, you will add the orange “Halloween Night” piece.
