Random & Handmade...

Here is one of my latest happy creations. I used a canvas board and a pencil, and started with my husband's hand. I traced his hand and went back over it so it could be seen. Next was me, than my oldest to the youngest, repeating the process. I know it is simplistic and that is exactly what I LOVE about it. If you feel the need to try something different, try using colored pencils, crayons, markers, cut paper (which could be stacked in layers too). The possibilities are endless! I love that it captures us 5, right now. In another year, my daughter's hand will be as big as my own. I used my stash to embellish it and stuck it in a frame. It has made me smile all week! This could easily be made into a layout, using simple cardstock instead of the canvas.

Cindy has done a number on my head. I saw these on her blog yesterday, and now all I can think about is zippers. Must. Have...

Have you seen that 2Peas is having a Back to School Event? September 13-October 1, a FREE event packed class that is filled with inspiration! Our own Nancy Damiano was featured here with her awesome 2-pager. Reminds me that I need to get cracking on those photos...

And last but not least, my dear friend Jen is doing a charity crop to benefit Relay for Life Rocky River at the RR high school on Saturday, September 25th. For more information, please
check out this flyer. To register, please email her directly at bueck.jennifer@rrcs.org. I'll see you there!
