The Incredibly Posh Birthday Bash

I have been blog hopping today... digging around for a little shot of inspiration for some upcoming projects.  I came across this site and I just had to share a few amazing photos with you.  These photos come from www.frogprincepaperie.com, which is a fabulous party invitation and planning business. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.  They inspired me to go the extra mile to create a real fairy tale experience for my guests the next time I throw a shower or party.

The biggest take away tip I got from these darling ideas was the impact of a backdrop.  All of these parties have a simple colored backdrop that really adds to the overall feel of the table.

Some ideas for creating simple backdrops might be:

1. Purchase one sheet of bead board from a home improvement store and paint it to match. You could easily reuse it by just painting it a new color.

2. Look for coordinating fabric on clearance and sew several pieces together to match the length of your table.

3. Tack fun wrapping paper up on your wall (like wall paper) just behind your table.  I have some adorable black and white polkadot paper that would be so fun for a ladybug themed event.
