Package Idea

Holiday greetings everyone...Jamie here with a little gift wrapping idea.

How about making use of that leftover December Work In Progress kit and beautifying your gift giving this month. I used one of Trish's ideas from her fabulous post yesterday and wrapped some gifts in kraft paper. Kraft wrapping paper is an item I always stock up on at Michael's. I use it everywhere. But that's another post.

Start by wrapping the gift in kraft.  Layer two pieces of the patterned paper from the kit around the wrapping. Top that with some zig-zag from your stash. Tie a tag on the top and add one of the Jenni Bowlin star stickers. Has sort of a masculine feel, don't you think?

The doily on this package gives it a feminine touch. Wrap a strip of the Cosmo Cricket patterned paper around the box. Add one of the Cosmo chipboard medallions and of course a tag from the Elements sheet. Trimming the tag with scallop scissors makes it even sweeter.

This one is simple but elegant. Trim patterned paper to just fit on top of the wrapped package. Tie it up with seam binding. A trimmed tag from the Cosmo Cricket Elements sheet shares a sweet message from the gift giver.

The possiblities are endless with your leftover papers and embellishments. Don't hoard your treasures, share them with those you love.
