U.K. Decay - For My Country

On this date in 1980, U.K. Decay released their second 7-inch record of their own, "For My Country". It was backed by "Unwind". Neither side appeared on their debut album, For Madmen Only, released in 1981. The single reached the #13 spot on the U.K. indie singles chart. The Luton, England post punk/goth band lasted three singles, two EP's, a split single and two albums before breaking up in 1982. They have recently re-formed.
