It's been widely reported that she's raked in a massive fortune from the sale of her Skinnygirl cocktail line, however, the release of new financial records show a check written to Bethenny Frankel for the goods was actually made out for less than previously believed.
According to a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission quarterly report form, the Bravo reality star sold off her calorie conscious creations to Fortune Brands, Inc. for a $8.1 million price tag - significantly less than prior reports which indicated a $120 million deal between the parties.
Meanwhile, Bethenny is fighting off a claim by "Jewish Journal" blogger Ilana Angel, who recently wrote that the 40-year-old fabricated a story about being lost at sea back in September.
"There was no reason for help to be called. The Coast Guard did not assist, as there was nothing for them to do. Tim went out because he respects the water, and was unsure of the problem. Bethenny wasted everyone's time, mocked the USCG, and belittled Tim Russell," Angel insisted.
Adding, "Bethenny came back to shore in the same boat she went out on. The only way they could have gotten lost would have been captain error, but [her therapist, who was manning the boat] has been sailing for 30 years and can not only use the GPS, but can read charts, so there is no way they were lost. If it it was all not faked, it was something short of 'reality.'"
Whipping back at the remarks, Frankel tweeted, "Let's review last week's idiocies 1)I have a"nice"coach 2)I'm getting divorced 3)I'm pregnant 4)I lied re:being lost at sea Anything else?"
