'Pirates of the Caribbean 4' now occupy top positions in demand in the U.S. film list (box office). Back starring Johnny Depp, the film managed to gross U.S. $ 23 million, or equivalent to Rp196 billion, on Saturday last week.
In foreign countries, the film tells this pirate adventure has earned revenues of U.S. $ 256.3 million, or approximately Rp2, 1 trillion. This is the biggest income for a new movie.
As quoted from USMagazine, in second place there is the movie 'Bridemaids'. Comedy film which tells about the bridesmaid is getting a profit of U.S. $ 64 million on Friday and $ 8.2 million on Saturday. While the film 'Thor', starring Chris Hemsworth had to settle for third place. The film topped the weekend box office is only able to reach revenues of U.S. $ 15.5 million.
