On this date in 1979, The Rowdies released their debut single, "She's No Angel". It was backed by "Had Me A Real Good Time". The London punk/power pop band included Live Wire fanzine journalist Alan Anger and two members of The Boys, Honest John Plain and Jack Black. This was their only single. They never performed live. The Boys, as a full group, recorded a version of "She's No Angel" too but it wasn't released until it was included on the re-release of their second album, Alternative Chartbusters.
