While visiting the Oregon coast I fell in love with the grey cedar shingle styled homes with their bright white trim. I have been to Cape Cod and Wilmington, North Carolina but never noticed these beautifully designed coastal homes until now.
The look is clean and simple and there is something so rich and cozy about a home with so much natural detail on its exterior. 
Maybe one day I can visit the Hamptons, just to drool over their ocean front cedar homes...hey, you never know? ;)Oh and just in case the Universe wanted to know what house I would buy if I HAD to move there, well here is one of my faves....selling for a mere 2.395 million dollars.
