Steve celebrated his birthday last Saturday the 10th. He is now 34 years old. Wow we are old, but still young at the same time. ;) We are in that in-between stage in life. heck, if we live to be 80 we aren't even half way there yet, so...yep, we're young! I made him the famous Nelson Cake (above). Yum....
I think this picture is hilarious. Steve was playing around with some feature on his mac a while back. But I have to say that an evening rarely goes by that he doesn't make me laugh like this.So thank you hun for keeping life light. Thank you for loving us. Thank you for doing the dishes when I just can't do them, for holding and loving the kids when I am too tired to do it and for giving me a kiss and a hug even when I feel I don't deserve it.
Happy birthday, I love you and here's to at least 50 more years of laughter, "rolling with the punches", "going with the flow" and dealing with whatever life hands us. The good, the bad and the wonderful. As long as we have each other we will survive!!! Love, brooke
