Soft Cell - Say Hello, Wave Goodbye

On this date in 1982, Soft Cell released their sixth single, "Say Hello, Wave Goodbye". It was backed by an instrumental version of the feature track. The A side appeared on their debut album, Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret. The single reached the #3 spot on the U.K. singles chart. The Leeds, England new wave band disbanded in 1984 but has gotten together again in recent years.
